Partner 4 : UMR PSH (INRA Avignon)

For more than 20 years, the PSH Research Unit has been working on the dynamics of root architecture and its functioning, in connection with all the functions of the plant.

This work has led to three - dimensional development and root architecture models as well as coupled architecture - absorption models. More recently, simple and generic models have been created to study root diversity within genotypes of different species and between species. These skills will be used to extend this type of model to a set of weed species considered relevant to the project. They will also be simplified to be integrated into the FLORSYS model.
