CoSAC is part of the panorama of several past and current projects of the partners.

  Several projects concern particular processes and tools: PHERAFAB (Casdar, 2014-2017) studies cultural associations as a means of control of the orobanche parasitic weed; RHIZOPOLIS (GFP, Agropolis Foundation, 2011-2014), EUROOT (FP7 KBBE.2011.1.2-05, 2012-2015) and INRA-EA Science Betting (2012-2013) are interested in the methods, tools and predictions of the root architecture; FLINT (FP7-KBBE-2013-1.4-12, 2013-2016), TEAM (PSPE Ecophyto, 2013-2015) and INDIBIO (Casdar, 2011-2014) focus on the development and validation of indicators, including biodiversity . Vigiweed (ANR GMO, 2008-2010) inventorait and established links between agricultural practices and French weeds. CLIMATOR (ANR VMC, 2007-2010) studying the impact of climate change on cultivated systems, using agronomic and climatological models.

  Other projects consider the culture system as a whole, with the aim of proposing new management strategies. PEPITES (ANR SYSTERRA, 2009-2013) studied ecological processes, of technical and social innovation, to evaluate and design technical systems adapted to conservation agriculture. Advherb (ANR Systerra, 2008-2012) and AgrobioSE (ANR Agrobiosphère, 2013-2017) focus on the role of functional biodiversity in the agroecosystem and the services rendered by weeds, with the objective of identifying the factors ( biological, agronomic) influencing weeds to assist in the development of herbicide reduction strategies. The CASDAR InnovAB (2014-2016), of which UMR Agroécologie and ARVALIS are partners, addresses similar questions in organic farming.

  The Ecophyto-FlorSys project (APR Pesticides Ecophyto, 2013-2015) analyzes and models the effects of cropping systems on weed flora and a procession of associated biotic components, and then uses these models and indicators for system assessment and design. of herbicide-saving crops. CoSAC will go beyond, studying new processes and especially, integrating technical partners and the profession in general, taking advantage of existing networks such as RMT SDCi and Florad and GIS GC HP2E. At the European level, CoSAC is based on results (agroecosystem functioning, modeling, design-evaluation of cropping systems) from ENDURE (EU FP6 Network of Excellence, 2007-2010) and PURE (EU FP7, 2007- 2013), interacts with AMIGA (EU-FP7, 2011-2015) for modeling (FLORSYS, pluriparcellar, herbicide resistance) and in silico evaluation of technical innovations (biodiversity indicators for FLORSYS). CoSAC will also contribute to a European project currently being set up, which will cover the objectives and methods of CoSAC at European level, supplementing them with processes (invasive species, mechanical weeding tools, etc.) and methods (agricultural parcel networks). ..) according to the specificities of the other partners, with the aim of proposing operational solutions for integrated management of weeds.
